Honeyberry – Lonicera Caerulea Edulis Boreal Beauty

Lonicera caerulea edulis is also known as the Honeyberry plant which produces abundant sweet edible fruit. he Boreal Beauty variety boasts large oval blue berries which are renowned for their firmness and sweet taste. An extremely vigorous, hardy shrub that will see you harvesting their antioxidant rich fruit year after year for eating fresh, freezing or even juicing.

Plant in moist, well-drained rich soil. This plant prefers sandy, loamy and clay soils. As with most fruit and berry plants, the Honeyberry plant does also need a good exposure to sunlight, it does not fruit so well in the shade. Ensure that the soil remains moist but not overly wet, particularly after planting.
