Hedera Glacier

Hedera Helix Glacier is a particularly ornamental climbing ivy, bearing small grey-green leaves with silver-grey and cream markings. Mature plants have clusters of very small yellowish-green autumn flowers followed by black berries. It is particularly useful to cover shady walls and perfect for covering pergola poles. Use young plants to spill around winter hanging baskets.

This ivy is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in part to full shade but it will also tolerate full sun. It’s a valuable wildlife plant providing late nectar and pollen for insects and berries for winter birds.
