Supplied as a powdered fertiliser, it can be sprinkled on top of soil where natural processes will soon absorb it into the ground, or it can be mixed into soil before planting. Added ingredients such as potash help make flower colours more pronounced and also improve ripening of fruits and vegetables, subsequently enchancing their taste.
