Buxus Ball Plant (40cm Diameter)

A Buxus Ball is a great way to add colour and interest to your garden throughout the year. Its evergreen foliage ensures your garden has some greenery all year round and the shrub joins in with the brightening spring by blooming clusters of small yellow flowers. This is a winter hardy shrub that will withstand the coldest of UK winter temperatures.

There are many reasons why Buxus remains a popular choice with gardeners and being relatively low maintenance is just one of them. With little effort and pruning just once or twice a year, you can maintain the size and shape of your buxus to fit your outdoor area. If you choose to keep your new shrub in a pot then be sure to water it regularly during dry spells and rotate it now and again to make sure each part of it gets even sunlight to avoid it growing patchily.

Also known as Boxwood or Common Box, Buxus is an ideal way to add texture to your outdoor space. Its lush, bushy foliage accepts pruning without complaint and is easily shaped for topiary. Box is versatile and can be planted out or happily reside in a pot to complement patios, driveways and entrances.
